Northeastern Ontario Literary Lights (NOLL) is a group of professional writers located in the Northeastern Ontario region. Officially a subgroup of The Writers' Union of Canada (TWUC), its members also include those in the The Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC). Some of its members are also members of The League of Canadian Poets (LCP) and The Canadian Authors Association (CAA).
The members are a very diverse group, working in many different genres, but connected by our decision to live and write in a location distant from the literary hubbub of major urban centres. We include novelists, poets, journalists, and biographers. Many of us also teach and do workshops, presentations, and public readings.
