Construction 96: The Planets (#1 "Mercury")
These works are based on the 8 planets in our solar system, inspired by Holst's symphony of the same name. The planet image in each work is modified from real photographs in the NASA database. The text is based on classical myths about the gods after which the planets are named. The primary content of the image is the result of manipulations performed on a variety of graphical mathematical explorations.
