This, our seventh, feature is the visual art of Pete Patterson. His work
is vivid proof of the power unleashed by science and technology. Mr. Patterson
does not have any formal training in the visual arts. He does not paint.
(His training is as a computer programmer specializing in graphics routines.)
But he is an artist. Hand out the tools created by him and his colleagues
to creative individuals (such as he obviously is), and voila, creative
things happen. Beautiful images come into existence. Art is sprouting up
all over, because of the fertilizing of the creative soil by science. So,
go now and view case-in-point.
